ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone to maintain the aesthetic of our beautiful farm and historic, renovated barn.  

Position type: Full or Part-time

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Landscaping — cutting grass, trimming hedges, gardening, etc.
  • Window cleaning
  • Sweeping parking lot and picking up garbage on grounds
  • Maintain and repair equipment
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the entire facility by following the established sanitary procedures and keeping accurate records.

  • You are a problem solver who knows how to troubleshoot

You will be working closely with our brewing team to ensure all cellaring tasks are accomplished in accordance with the brewing, fermentation, packaging, and equipment maintenance schedules.  

Position type: Full-time

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Fermentation monitoring
  • CIP/SIP of all brewery vessels
  • Strict adherence to sanitary and record-keeping standards
  • Wort and beer transfer
  • Manual cleaning of brewery equipment and parts
  • Exterior and interior keg cleaning with semi automated keg washer.
  • Assist with packaging; including canning and bottling
  • Manual keg filling
  • Basic facilities maintenance
  • Basic brewery equipment maintenance
  • Assist brewers with wort-creation and brewhouse operation

ABOUT YOU

  • You have experience working in a commercial brewery
  • Formal brewing education is a plus, but we will teach you everything that you need to know
  • You are willing to become a Certified Cicerone.  We will reimburse exam costs upon certification.
  • You possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • You pay close attention to details
  • You are willing to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
  • You are available to work on weekends, early mornings, and/or nights depending on production schedules
  • You are able to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are able to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs occasionally
  • You are able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • You can learn to safely operate complex machinery

ABOUT YOU

  • You have TIPS alcohol certification
  • You have interest in learning more about the world of beer, brewing, and professional beer service
  • You are willing to become a Cicerone Certified Beer Server within the first 90 days of being hired– we will reimburse exam cost upon certification.

We are looking for friendly, hard working individuals to work directly with the beertending team to help us maintain a clean environment and positive atmosphere for all guests at the brewery.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Following all cleaning and sanitary procedures and keeping strict records of CIP/ SIP for all brewery vessels
  • Assisting with wort production
  • Monitoring fermentation
  • Wort and beer transfers
  • Yeast pitching and health management
  • Manual cleaning of brewery equipment and parts
  • Basic facilities and brewery equipment maintenance
  • Cleaning kegs with a semi automatic keg cleaner
  • Filling kegs with beer
  • Cleaning and maintenance of draft lines and equipment

ABOUT YOU

  • You have experience working as a brewer or cellar person in a commercial brewery
  • You have a strong desire to learn and grow with the company
  • Formal brewing education is a plus
  • You are willing to become a Certified Cicerone.  We will reimburse exam costs upon certification.
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • You pay close attention to details
  • You are willing to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills
